About Softsource

Founded in Albany, Auckland in 2004, Softsource now brings together the teams formerly known as vBridge, The Laptop Company and Network Edge. More than 200 people across New Zealand make up one accountable technology partner, securing every aspect of technology from the device in your hand to the cloud your data lives in.

Yes. Softsource designs, builds and supports business apps and automated workflows on Microsoft Power Platform. This covers Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI. The data can sit in SharePoint, SQL, Dataverse and other connected systems.
It is a fixed monthly service that keeps your Power Apps, flows and Power BI reports reliable, secure and improving. You don't need to hire a specialist team. Softsource monitors your estate, governs it, fixes it and improves it, so your business apps keep running through every Microsoft update.
It is a regular health check of your Power Platform estate by Softsource. It covers:
App health, crashes and load times
Failed or silently stopped flows
Expired connections and passwords
Data accuracy and list size limits
Performance
User access
Platform currency.
Each review gives a green, amber or red health rating with clear actions.
The service includes:
Proactive monitoring of Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI
A monthly Warrant of Fitness review and report
Fixes for in scope apps, flows and reports during New Zealand business hours
Reviews of data loss prevention policies
Connection and sign in health checks
Performance tuning
Testing ahead of Microsoft updates
A set block of small improvement hours each month
A quarterly service review.
Softsource reviews each Microsoft release wave for its impact and tests your solutions before the changes reach your users. It also tracks retired features and connectors, so apps and flows are updated before they fail.
Softsource sets up and enforces data loss prevention policies, so sensitive company data can't leak through unapproved connectors. It also reviews user access, so staff only see the SharePoint data they are entitled to.
Yes. Softsource helps you avoid licence sprawl and use fewer premium connectors. It also helps you get the most from the capability already included in Microsoft 365 before you pay for premium options such as Dataverse.
Softsource reviews list size, indexing and performance. It helps prevent apps from slowing or failing as SharePoint lists grow past the 5,000 item threshold.
Softsource can connect your Power Apps to Azure Application Insights. This records usage, performance and unhandled errors without capturing user names or business data by default. Alerts can then log issues automatically, notify your team or feed your service desk.
Yes. Softsource can take over solutions you inherited or that someone else built, after a documented handover and review. Onboarding usually takes one to two weeks and includes discovery, documentation, a baseline health check and monitoring setup.
